• Dear Valued Patients:

We know that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an evolving concern for many people in our region, as well as around the world, and we’d like to personally reach out to you and let you know what Barstow Children’s Dentistry is doing to help combat the spread of the virus.
We are following the situation closely through information shared by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other government and health agencies around the world to stay informed, as well as monitoring and following the guidelines of the CDC to ensure that our clinic is doing our part to keep you, our staff, and our communities safe.
We recognize this is a serious situation, but do not want to cause panic either. Many large events have now been postponed to reduce public gatherings to prevent the spread of the virus. However, pain issues can actually increase your odds of getting sick. Therefore, we will continue to stay open and accept new patients for any of your needs or emergencies that may arise.

To give you peace of mind, we want to remind you that Barstow Children’s Dentistry is doing everything we can to prevent the virus from spreading and will be putting additional cleaning and health protocols in place.

    In our office:
    - We will continue to follow FDA cleaning protocols and increase the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing our equipment before and after patient use.
    - We will provide adequate supplies of hand washing and sanitizing equipment for patient and staff use.
    - We are actively encouraging all staff and patients who are not feeling well to stay home.
    - We will avoid close contact with people who are sick outside of the office, as well as avoid touching our eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed/unsanitized hands.
We are prepared for any service changes to our office should they be required by the CDC and regional public health officials. We will continue to proactively monitor, evaluate, and respond to the impact of the virus and be ready to make any changes to keep our patients, staff, and communities health and well-being our top priority.

    Sincerely,
    Brandon L, Grieve, D.M.D.

  • Our Treatments

  • The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children should visit their dentist every six months for a routine checkup and cleaning. This allows for early diagnosis of any problems so that they are easier and less expensive to address. During the exam, your child’s pediatric dentist will carefully check the health and development of your child’s teeth

  • Welcome to Barstow Childrens Dentistry

Welcome to the practice! We look forward to meeting you and your child(ren) in person at their first dental appointment. Before you come in, we thought you might want to know a little bit about us and get an idea about what to expect during your child's visit.

We believe that achieving and maintaining the oral health of your child's teeth and gums takes a team effort and that you play as big a role as we do in achieving it. Therefore, you can expect to be involved in your child's treatment plan program.

  • Your Child's First Visit

During your child's first visit, we'll ask you to fill out a medical history form, which is vital in developing their treatment plan. Next, we'll examine your child's teeth, gums and oral tissues. We will take x-rays if needed and examine their bite. Later, using our findings from the exam, we will determine a treatment plan and go over it together.

If you have any questions about our practice, please call us anytime (760) 260-9033. We welcome your family to the practice and look forward to meeting soon.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Grieve and Staff
